The Stackable Credential Model provides a pathway to advance your career by building on previous experience. Through community partnerships, Mi Casa helps create opportunities to translate your existing skills into college credits, leading to certifications and degrees in less time and at lower costs.
Graduate from our Business Success® PLAN and LAUNCH classes and receive credits for two college-level courses (6 credits total) at Community College of Denver! Pursue your entrepreneurial certificate to build up your entrepreneurial spirit. Stack your certificate and work towards an associate’s degree in business administration.
Classes for the Entrepreneurship certificate include:
Upon successful completion of Mi Casa’s Medical Administration Training, participants can earn 4 college credits at Arapahoe Community College. Pursue certificates including: Medical Office Administrative Assistant, or Medical Assistant.
Take our Human Resources Essentials Training and get four college credits at Metropolitan State University Denver (MSU). Learners can obtain three credit hours for MSU’s HR Essentials course. Obtain an additional one credit hour for simultaneously working with your Mi Casa Career Coach and Student Services Coach. These classes fulfill the requirements to start an MSU certificate in the business pathway. This certificate also has the opportunity to lead to a Bachelor’s in human resources.
