Denver – Mi Casa Resource Center® celebrates the appointment of Raymond Gonzales as Executive Vice President of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and as President of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation (EDC), to take effect on December 1st, 2021. The post-pandemic business needs and challenges of upcoming years will require innovative leadership and it is inspiring to see leadership from the Latinx community in which Mi Casa Resource Center has been rooted since its inception.
As a President of the Metro Denver EDC, spanning 70 cities and economic development agencies in the nine-county Metro Denver region to promote economic prosperity, and leading a chamber of commerce that has adopted a heightened approach to giving the people of Denver great jobs, Raymond Gonzales will fill both roles as Denver emerges from the COVID-19 Pandemic. “Mi Casa believes that Raymond is a terrific fit for the job,” Mi Casa CEO Angeles Ortega said. “He has proven his leadership ability by dedicating himself to government service for the past twenty-four years.” She added, “What is most exciting about his appointment is he will be continuing his work in benefiting the county that he was born in.
