Mi Casa’s Career Development team teaches job-seekers the skills they need to succeed in today’s workplace through workshops, training, and 1-on-1 career coaching. The Training Manager manages the trainers and coaches for Mi Casa’s Career programs. The Training Manager is a key leader in the Career Development team in that they will supervise all training activities, provide direct service support and coaching to participants during job search, coordinate data collection and evaluation, collaborate with team members, and act as back-up for any trainers or coaches as necessary.

Business Center Recruiter

The Business Center Recruiter conducts targeted outreach and builds/maintains strategic referral partnerships to connect bilingual entrepreneurs and small business owners to the Women’s Business Center (WBC) programs and/or other agency services. This position is responsible for recruitment, screening, and enrollment of participants into the different WBC programs as well as channeling prospects for any other Mi Casa or partner service. The person in this position will work with large amounts of data, will have experience in program coordination, and will demonstrate multi-tasking abilities.

The Career Trainer leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of training as well as the building of connection points for Mi Casa’s Career Skills training program. The Trainer builds both pathways into Career Skills training and pathways out to navigation, career coaching, and technical training opportunities.
