Highlighting and Supporting Denver’s Black-Owned Businesses
At Mi Casa Resource Center (MCRC), we believe in the potential of all people. Racism is pervasive, pernicious and is robbing African Americans of the rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness that this country was founded to ensure.
MCRC stands in solidarity with our sisters and brothers in the Black community. Black Americans have borne the burden of racism and systematized oppression for far too long. It must change.
We have compiled a list of active Black-owned businesses in and around Denver that have recently received business support services through MCRC.
This list is not exhaustive and was created to show our support and solidarity with the Black community.
One Black business owner that is working hard with support from MCRC to pivot her business for the pandemic economy is Angela Ray. Angela was recently featured in the Sentinel and also in a story that appeared on CBS4 News (below).
