Mobile Apps, Safety & Parental Controls

This introductory workshop helps participants identify and use secure digital applications for school, work, and everyday life. The session explores personal and educational apps that support daily tasks, learning, and organization. Participants will also review safety practices when using applications, along with measures to protect children and teens on digital devices.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Identify useful personal and educational applications.
• Locate and download secure apps on their devices.
• Recognize common security and privacy risks when using apps.
• Apply safety settings and parental controls for safe device use.
