La Receta® Plan

12-week class | Thursdays 5:30 PM – 7 PM | May 2nd – July 25th | In-Person | Registration deadline: May 1st | This training is valued at $8,000 but through generous contributions from our funders, we can offer it for an administrative fee of $50.

The La Receta® food accelerator is an 6-week program for foodpreneurs who wish to launch and operate a successful food business: food truck, catering, or restaurant.

This course is designed to help you develop a business plan, create a professional menu, and cost your recipes. During the 6-week program you will also:

• Develop and position your brand
• Know and control your costs: Start-up, Fixed and Variable
• Learn about licensing and regulatory agency requirements
• Apply menu psychology techniques
• Design your marketing campaigns
• Choosing the right vendors and inventory best practices
• Risk management and Insurance
