American Connectivity Program & Mi Casa Tablet Distribution

Mi Casa Resource Center is partnering with the American Connectivity Program to give free tablets and internet service to our community!

The American Connectivity Program allows you to receive a FREE 10-inch tablet with 15 gigabytes/month of internet service PLUS an extra 10 gigabytes/month at no additional cost (normally the tablet would cost $11, but MCRC is covering the cost for our participants). You must meet the eligibility criteria to participate in the program:

• Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year;
• Participate in one of these assistance programs:
  • Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program, including at U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Community Eligibility Provision schools.
  • SNAP
  • Medicaid
  • Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program (Section 8 Vouchers)
  • Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA)/202/811
  • Public Housing 
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
  • WIC
  • Veterans Pension or Survivor Benefits.
• The program can also be accessed through child benefits or if the child qualifies for the Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program, including at U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Community Eligibility Provision schools.

**All applicants MUST PROVIDE the last 4 digits of their Social Security Number OR their child’s SSN**
