Looking to gain new technology skills to integrate in your life and boost your professional skills? Consider the Google Tools Boot Camp at Mi Casa Resource Center!

In each Boot Camp, you will learn how to use a free Google Suite product. Our trainers will also share technology tips and tricks along the way. Join one session or join them all to develop a toolbelt of skills you can use to search for jobs, pursue an online training , make your personal life more organized, and more! Folks who attend and engage with all 6 sessions will be eligible for a $50 voucher to PCs for People.

In order to participate, you must log in using a computer with access to internet and audio.  To learn your best, each Google Tools Boot Camp is planned for you to practice as you learn. Please expect to be engaged! If you don’t have access to technology, please reach out to Mi Casa for information on our computer lending program. See contact below!

Each Google Tools Boot Camp will be held over Zoom. Be sure to sign up for the first session- Google Tools Boot Camp: Video Conferencing if you do not know how to use Zoom. All other Boot Camps will require a Google Account. If you do not have one, please attend Google Tools Boot Camp: Gmail to create one.

If you need access to technology or have any questions, please reach out to Javier Martinez: jmartinez@micasaresourcecenter.org

Keep yourself organized with Google Tools Boot Camp: Google Drive and Google Calendar. Google Drive is a free space to store all your Google Files and more. Google Calendar is a digital calendar you can access from more than one device. In this session you will learn and practice:

  • Accessing and using Google Drive
  • Best practices for file management
  • Managing your Google Calendar
  • Create and sharing a new event
